Only days after Cher announced via Twitter that she's borrowing Gaga's unreleased track "The Greatest Thing" for her next album, plans for the track production have changed! Initially the song was to include Cher's voice for Gaga's writing. After many fans were confused and wanted Gaga to sing alongside the legend, Cher has now announced that Gaga is recording fresh vocals for the song, and the track will indeed be a duet. Way to share that meat purse, ladies!

This song fits Cher to a T. But you know, I was under the impression, from the first tweets received on this project, that Cher is going to cover the song "solo". Lady Gaga tweeted her back agreeing to a duet for a club remix. (I believe her tweet said "perhaps a remix for the gays"). I certainly hope I'm correct. I look forward to the duet but would prefer she release this new cd with no vocal help from anyone. Otherwise, it will be popping up all over the music world that her "comeback" album was successful because of the help she received, which will not be true.
